About The Client
The University of Medical and Dentistry of New Jersey – School of Public Health (UMDNJ SPH) hired Victor to lead their website redesign.
At that time, UMDNJ boasted a student body of around 7,000, engaged in over 100 degree and certificate programs. The institution also employed over 13,000 individuals, including nearly 2,500 faculty members. It also had a vast alumni network of over 31,000 individuals and nurtured affiliations with over 200 educational and healthcare partners throughout New Jersey.


The Solution
Victor’s objective focused on enhancing the student experience and streamlining access to basic information. He focused on placing the students’ immediate needs front and center and showcasing special programs undertaken by the School of Public Health aimed at improving health. Additionally, he highlighted the many contributions of students and faculty.
Achieving this objective required many interviews with faculty and students. These discussions were instrumental in clarifying priorities and objectives within the departments of SPH.
The Results
The redesign achieved multiple milestones, such as significantly enhancing the user experience and simplifying the process for prospective students and their families to access basic information.
